I am from Portugal and. I am a big fan of YOU. I am writing you because I need someone to listen to my story.

I am not asking for anything for me, but for a friend that doesn’t know that I am sending you this message.

This friend that is a single mother. One daughter has 15 years and she’s studying music to be a professional flutist. She is a very, very talented young girl. This family lived a terror situation when they were growing up. The father was an alcoholic and aggressive person. This family don’t complain about anything, they learn to suffer in silence and fight for their goals.

Now a big major problem came to their door: she had a flute borrowed by a college from her music school. Yesterday her mother (my friend) called me crying. Her instrument is broken and she can’t be evaluated, and participate in concerts. They are desperate. They fight so much for every thing and I am very sad that I can’t help this young artist that found a way of living with their past through music.

I found out that the flute she needs is made in USA (Azumi Flutes) and that’s when your name came to my mind. If there’s a person that can bring happiness to this mother and daughter (her name is Ana Raquel she’ll be 16 on the 21 of April) is YOU.
