This Story is about Ronald McDonald House Family Room

My son suddenly got sick and had to be hospitalized at T.C. Thompsons Childrens Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. I was in shock to find out that he had a kidney problem. The family room at T.C Thompsons was a life saver for us. It was a place that you could go to get things needed but, also to get away for a few minutes. Thank you, Angela Haley

This Story is about Ronald McDonald House

I was at the Ronald McDonald House 4 weeks while my 12 year old daughter was in therapy at Legacy Emanuel Childrens Hospital. What a blessing it was to have smiling faces to encourage me daily. I met so many familys that shared their experiences with me. I am very grateful to have been able to have such a safe and beautiful place to stay. I have made so many friends from all over the nation that I will cherish and stay in contact with forever. I will never forget what this house has done for not just me but our whole family! My son shows me every opportunity he sees now for donating to the Ronald McDonald House and I know we will always be a donor! Thanks to every one who makes these houses available around the world. You are my heros!

    This Story is about General

    My Dearest President of Mackdonnald

I am from Portugal and. I am a big fan of YOU. I am writing you because I need someone to listen to my story.

I am not asking for anything for me, but for a friend that doesn’t know that I am sending you this message.

This friend that is a single mother. One daughter has 15 years and she’s studying music to be a professional flutist. She is a very, very talented young girl. This family lived a terror situation when they were growing up. The father was an alcoholic and aggressive person. This family don’t complain about anything, they learn to suffer in silence and fight for their goals.

Now a big major problem came to their door: she had a flute borrowed by a college from her music school. Yesterday her mother (my friend) called me crying. Her instrument is broken and she can’t be evaluated, and participate in concerts. They are desperate. They fight so much for every thing and I am very sad that I can’t help this young artist that found a way of living with their past through music.

I found out that the flute she needs is made in USA (Azumi Flutes) and that’s when your name came to my mind. If there’s a person that can bring happiness to this mother and daughter (her name is Ana Raquel she’ll be 16 on the 21 of April) is YOU.

Sorry about my English and sorry for being another one to upset you.

Thank you so much for the time you spent reading this message, and thank you for being you. You make the world a better place.

This Story is about Ronald McDonald House

Our starts with my son before he was born. He had a stroke in utero. His cord kinked and that changed our lives forever. The first time we went to TC Thompson was when my son was 1 month old. His reflux was in a league of its own and his IGG deficiency didn't help either. I am a single mother and my new job became taking care of him full time. I didn't have any money and I had no idea what to do. That was the first time I found out what Ronald McDonald House was. It became my life saver. I could eat and know my son was just down the hall. When I needed a break it became my home away from home. As the years have moved forward my sons medical did too. They found gray matter on the left temporal lobe. Seizures were going to be the next thing to take center stage along side the IGG deficiency. His first year of life he was home only a total or three weeks if you add it all together in the hospital. Now he is 6. We still have our battles to fight and I am grateful for the knowledge that I food and someone to talk to. It's nice to be able to know that the battles may not be the same but you are not alone. Thank you for everything!!

    This Story is about Scholarship

I come from a single parent household and my father died from pneumonia with the help of a cocaine drug addiction. I never had life easy and I always had to work for what i had. Now i am a EMT and because of my work with the elderly I decided to dedicate my life to the elderly by establishing a assistant living facility. My dreams are always in plain view, but I need assistance for college. It seems that the grants and loans aren't enough and I need a scholarship to make my dream come true to better health care for the elderly.
