For decades, people who have shared the vision of Ronald McDonald House Charities have become partners in helping us accomplish our mission. Together we have improved the lives of those affected by serious illness and disease. The generosity of our donors is essential to ensure that RMHC continues to provide quality care and services to families and to improve the health and well being of children.
Why choose RMHC to give to?
- Research shows that a family presence in the hospital helps children heal faster. Our programs are unique in that they allow for families to spend additional time with a sick child, help ease financial burdens, provide a sense of normalcy to families, keep families together and provide access to healthcare.
- Your money goes to those who need it. Eighty-four cents of every dollar spent is used to fund our programs globally.
- We are global and diverse. We are committed to and contributing to communities all over the world. RMHC transcends languages, nationalities and cultures.
- The need is endless. Demand exceeds capacity for every RMHC program and we need your support to serve more children and families. We have plans to expand our core programs by 37% by 2010.
- We are a Charity of first resort, not last resort. And, our experience is unmatched. For over 35 years, RMHC and its local Chapters have been the answer to millions of families looking for a place to stay when their child is facing a serious illness or looking for basic healthcare when they have no insurance and their children need to see a doctor.
- RMHC is a careful steward of the public’s trust. RMHC currently meets the BBB Wise Giving Alliance’s Standards for Charity Accountability.
