Ronald McDonald Care Mobile
Undoubtedly, you will be surprised to learn that:
- More than 51 million hours of schooling are lost annually due to the lack of dental care among American children.
- Tooth decay is the most common chronic childhood disease today in the United States, five times more common than asthma.
- Each year, nearly 10 million children die worldwide, mostly from preventable and treatable causes.
These numbers don't have to be this high. In fact, we don't want them to exist at all. So we created the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. A fleet of them travel to communities the world over to bridge the gap between hospitals and these underserved children - and to eliminate statistics like these. So, children with the greatest barriers to accessible health care get the care they need.
