Guerrilla Marketing: A New Way to Tell Our Story

Always looking to find new ways to tell how RMHC impacts families and children, our Strength in Numbers campaign illustrates our Charity’s ability to create networks of support for families. To help bring this to life, in a unique way, we’re using guerilla marketing to focus on ‘numbers’ important to our Chapters and our families within the communities we support.

Between November 20 and December 31, pedestrians, football and basketball fans, shopping mall goers, employees of local businesses, and the general public may be surprised finding numbers out and about in their world. These numbers will be painted on retail windows and sidewalks, projected onto buildings, posted on scoreboards, or sported on uniforms.

These numbers represent meaningful stories about RMHC, our Chapters, programs and the families we have helped along the way. The numbers could represent the many hours that staff and volunteers dedicate to families and children every day, the number of Houses that offer a “home away from home” in a particular state, or the number of candles on a little girl’s birthday cake after recovering from a liver transplant.

These are just some of the Strength in Number stories we’d like to share with our friends, families and supporters during this Season of Giving. Together we can continue strengthen families during the most difficult time of their life.
