Decoration and plating
To decorate and plate the paparajotes, we mix the remaining ingredients, 200 g of sugar and 10 g of cinnamon. Once these ingredients are mixed, a coating of the sugar and cinnamon mixture is added to the lemon leaf with the fried dough. (DON’T FORGET TO REMOVE THE LEMON LEAF BEFORE EATING!)
NOTE: Spain's Murcia region is renowned for its high quality and flavorful lemons. Lemons thrive best in the warm, Mediterranean climate of the Murcia region. Large, with a smooth, thin skin and a delicious, acidic flesh, are the lemons native to this region.
